We know the cost of a private education at a Christian school has become prohibitive for many parents. Because New Hope has been operating since 1978, we are able to offer resources on par with other independent schools at a much lower cost to the parent. We maintain a tuition within reach of most parents who are intent on sending their children to a Christian school.

KINDERGARTEN (3 year old) 8AM - 12PM

School starts at 8:00 am. and ends at 12:00 noon. We request your promptness in picking up your child. We do not offer before and after school day care.

Please send your child to school well-rested and having had a good breakfast. Since you are furnishing your child’s snack, we would like for you to send just one item along with a drink.

Please do not send your child to school with a cold or fever. Your child will not be allowed to stay at school if they are ill. We will notify you immediately. No medication will be dispensed by the teacher.

A Certificate of Immunization is required by law and must be on file in the school office within 30 days after the start of school. This certificate, form #3231, must be completed by your child’s physician or public health nurse. We also must have a copy of your child’s birth certificate and social security card

When celebrating birthdays, you may send birthday napkins and cups for the entire class. Please contact your child’s teacher before the day to be sure we do not celebrate two birthdays on the same day.

We recommend simple, comfortable play clothes, since our activities are often messy. (Keep in mind what will be easier for your child when going to the bathroom.) All outerwear should be clearly marked with the child’s name. Please provide an extra set of clothes (top & bottom), underwear, and socks) in a large ziploc bag to keep in your child’s classroom. This will be used if your child has an accident.

Any discipline problems will be dealt with in a positive manner. The teacher will discuss his/her behavior and ask the child to stop and think about the problem.

The teacher may use a time-out chair where the child can calm down and decide when he/she is ready to continue with the group.

Tuition is based on an annual fee. It may be paid in full, or for your convenience, payments can be made each month beginning August 1st through May 1st. Because the tuition is based on an annual fee, the full monthly tuition is due during vacations, holidays or illness. Please make your checks payable to New Hope Christian Academy. If paying by cash, please stop by the school office.

Additional fees for K-3 are as follows: Field trips, parties, etc.

The registration fee, book fee, and first tuition payment must be made by August 1. The registration fee is not refundable for any reason. Book fee and other fees are not refundable after the first day of school.

There will be a 10% discount if tuition is paid in full by August 1. If a student is withdrawn during the school year, the 10% will be deducted from the amount refunded.

Tuition payments are always due on the 1st of the month. Payments are considered late after the 16th of the month, and a late fee of $25.00 will be added. Student will be suspended for accounts delinquent after the end of each month unless prior arrangements have been made though the administration.

Classes are 5 days a week, 8:00 a.m. until noon.

(If you are planning on withdrawing your child from the academy, please give as much advance notice as possible. Any child attending at least two weeks in the month will be required to pay full tuition for that month.)

Child must be 3 years old on or before September 1st for acceptance in the K-3 program.
